Having seen and enjoyed TMNT 1990, I felt that their comment on the Turtles personalities seems off. They’re not interchangeable, they actually have individual personalities. Anybody who is a fan of TMNT will tell them that and possibly go into detail. Also, the pizza delivery scene they showed is not exploitative, it establishes how much they love pizza. It wasn’t simply telling kids to go out and by Domino’s Pizza. Final point, this film is not mindless, there’s emotional core to this film that they, like other film critics at that time, completely ignored. I’m not trying to down people who didn’t like the film, but their criticisms towards the film is faulty.
