  • I am glad that there’s still a good inflow of early Ebert and Roeper shows. These shows bring back a lot of nostalgia.

It’s also curious that Miss Julie erroneously appears as a 2 star review on Roger’s website, as it’s actually a 3 star rating, according to his book.

Do you have the reviews of mission to mars and ninth gate?

  • I have over a dozen second-hand books and counting.

    What editions?

  • All the editions up to 2004. I have his annual editions from 2007 and onwards, in Ebook format.

I just read them on archive.org. But the site doesn’t have the 1988, 1989, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1996, 1997, and other edition I would like to read. It’s good that you have those. I wonder when did his reviews of 2001, The Hidden Fortress, Bambi, and Peeping Tom first appear in.

Do you have the reviews of “Mission to Mars” and “The Ninth Gate? It was the next show following this one.

Michael, this is from Scott’s collection of shows on five videotapes. I am transferring them at a rate of four shows at a time. So, I can’t tell you yet! I am working on the fourth videotape now.

This was Richard Roeper’s first appearance on the show.
