Dear Larry,
If you have more eps after Gene’s death, I think it would be great to upload them. Its still one half of S&E and I for one would like to see all of Ebert’s post-Gene work.
I am still working on my other site right now dealing with astronomy. Plus, my father had a stroke back in February, so I am with him right now. I can do what you are requesting, but would that take us away from the theme of this site?
Thanks Larry and sorry to hear of your father.
No, I don’t think it would take anything away at all. In fact, I think the show must go on attitude they had, would strongly suggest finishing out the website with all of Ebert’s reviews. No different from the clips you have of just Gene or just Roger on a news segment, etc. I for one would deeply appreciate it!
One more thing, the way you have “Disney Years”, Tribune Years”, etc., you could do “Post-Gene Years”, or “Roger Continuing with Other Critics”. Something like that.
I wonder if you will post up more episodes for 1999 as far as films like:
Wild Wild West
Inspector Gadget
Eyes Wide Shut
Magnolia
Gloria
Varsity Blues
Stuart Little
She’s All That
Payback (Mel Gibson)
Simply Irresistible (Sarah Michelle Gellar)
8mm (Nicolas Cage, Joaquin Phoenix)
Cruel Intentions
Baby Geniuses
10 Things I Hate About You
The Mummy
The Matrix
Go
Life (Eddie Murphy, Martin Lawrence)
Entrapment
Idle Hands
A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Episode 1: Phantom Menace
Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me
Scary Movie
Big Daddy (Adam Sandler)
Arlington Road (Tim Robbins, Jeff Bridges)
Mystery Men (Ben Stiller)
The Sixth Sense
Thomas Crown Affair
World is Not Enough (Pierce Brosnan 007)
Bowfinger
Detroit Rock City
The Astronaut’s Wife (Johnny Depp, Charlize Theron)
Dudley Do Right (Brendan Fraser)
Universal Soldier: The Return (Van Damme)
Any Given Sunday
Wow Terry! You really know your movies as do I. Blair Witch Project and The Haunting are a few others that I’d like to see along with your choices. Cruel Intentions is uploaded on this pg.
Hi Michael, I just haven’t been feeling well. I am 67, and it seems in the past four months, my health hasn’t been as good. I have one video I have grabbed from YT that I will get up today or tomorrow. Unfortunately, the few videos I have left are either Roger and Gene giving speeches or interviews. I do have one where the two review The Breakfast Club, but guess what got cut on the videotape? Anyway, any help from you or anyone else would be most appreciated!
Hi Larry, sorry to hear about your health. I hope you get better soon. I have pretty much the same: interviews and commentaries that Roger gave; no reviews. There was a full episode on YouTube that had their reviews of Outrageous Fortune, Radio Days, and more. However, I think it had been taken down. There’s another episode on YouTube that’s not on the IMDB page from 1981, where they reviewed the teenage movie trends. It’s still on there.
By the way, do you still have the best of 1970s show that aired in 1979? That and the episode of “The Doctors Are in” (83 or 84) are still absent, unfortunately. Thanks.
That youtube show with Radio Days has “Jan 31 1987” in the title, for anyone having trouble finding it. Took me several minutes to find it because the movies reviewed aren’t listed in the title.
You’re right. I did another search after Michael’s comment and it was there. There’s another episode from 1987 that’s also on YouTube, and which isn’t posted here. It’s edited, truncates, and broken into four parts:
Those four parts are available, but the part that is missing is apparently the review of Raising Arizona. Maybe it was originally posted and then taken down for copyright reasons. ???

Sorry to hear about your dad. By the way, if you go on youtube, you will find some Siskel and Ebert shows you missed, like Worst of 90 and 91.
Larry, do have the reviews of “Instinct” and “Limbo” and “8MM” and Other Sister? Those were on the old site.

Star Wars Ep. 1 and Eyes Wide Shut review are on this pg. He did a tribute to Stanley Kubrick and reviewed the film on the same show.
Thanks for letting me know
Why has nothing been posted in over a week??

Their Best of 1982 episode is missing as well.
I have to look Jesse. I am not sure.
Hey Patrick, I found the file. I am trying to clean it up right now. You guys have long memories! 😃
The review featuring “Radio Days”, Outrageous Fortune and Critical Condition IS on youtube.

I noticed that also. It’s been posted awhile and I watched them then, but I can’t remember if it was ever posted. Oh well.
Hi Larry. Anymore reviews? Do you have the following episodes: Lara Croft Tomb Raider, Cats & Dogs, Kiss of the Dragon, Joe Dirt?
