Interesting show. I am wondering when this was – how long after Gene’s death.
This would have been July of 1999. Roger’s review of “Eyes Wide Shut” was published on July 16th, the day the movie opened. This was recorded before he wrote it – he says so near the end of the video. The critics likely saw it at a special screening – their standard way – a week or two in advance.
