12/??/79 The show with Wise Blood, etc. This site has it, but I haven’t found it in the guides, and there doesn’t seem to be an empty week for it in December, but it must have aired in December since they preview the episode that would air on 12/20. So exactly when this one aired it a bit of a mystery. It’s possible that it aired on 12/06, and that would explain why the episode with Bugs/The Prize Fighter is missing–because it didn’t actually exist.
12/13/79 8:00 Thursday (Take 2: Guilty Pleasures 1)
12/20/79 8:00 Thursday (The Jerk, etc.)
12/27/79 8:00 Thursday (Take 2: Best Films of the 70s)
I LOVE this site. Great job revamping it. I am officially addicted. Thanks for putting it together. Can we expect more episodes from 1979 or are there any from 1978.
There’s at least one more episode from 1979, in which they talked about the best films of the decade. I am still waiting for that to be re-uploaded.
Thanks Bryan and Jesse…I am slowly getting there!
Why do the categories sections have more videos then the “Years” sections? For example, #Pulblic1979 has a lot more videos than “1979 – Sneak Previews”.
Actually, I shouldn’t have put “a lot more videos” but each section has different videos.
Hi Jeff, You caught me! I am probably two months behind listing the shows…maybe more. I received a lot of Ebert & Roeper shows, and I still haven’t categorized them by year. Let me see what I can do this month to catch up. My apologies to you and everyone else!
Understood. No problem, take your time…this site rules!! Thanks for the quick reply.

Hi John, Wow…you put a lot of work into this! I just added what you compiled for 1979 (as you can see here https://siskelebert.org/?p=996). It looks like you have worked on the shows from the 70s. I will work on those other years later. How about the Tribune and Disney years. A lot of work, but it would be interesting to see and know! Thanks!
I have your 1979 list you compiled up too!
