The Deer Hunter if anything is a classic. I mean probably one of the best films about the Vietnam War. Other than Platoon and Apocalypse Now, Deer Hunter is right up there. The overall story about Vietnam in general but also seeing what it was like for the soldiers over there just really hits home.
