My Girl was an interesting movie, and sadly the last good movie from both Culkin and Aykroyd.
I love Beauty and the Beast. It’s actually my favorite of the modern Disney animated films and I agree with them. But sometimes, I criticize them for having a pro Disney bias. The best example is when after The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast came out, Gene clearly has a bias for both of these movies, literally comparing almost any animated feature negatively to these 2 movies.
They took Ebert’s advice as Dalton was cast as Rhett Butler in the Scarlett TV mini-series.
