I sought out The Professionals purely on Gene’s recommendation and I was definitely not disappointed. Great cast, fun action, deep story, and now one of my favorite Westerns
To make myself clear, Gene is entitled to his own opinions. If he doesn’t like The Terminator and Predator, that’s fine. What’s not fine is when Gene accuses Roger of lowering his standards for enjoying this movie. This is exactly the same snobbish bullcrap John Simon said when he attacked Star Wars.
