Scarface is a classic like probably one of the best films of 1983.
Scarface is far from my favorite Pacino film but Gene is so incredibly wrong.
Gene’s logic is pretty flawed in his Scarface review. Tony Montana is a boring because Michael Corleone is interesting? Two completely different movies with two different performances. They have nothing to do with one another. I’m not saying Scarface is a perfect film because it isn’t. But Tony Montana is anything but boring.
