I never have much appreciation for Space Jam although I do respect their opinions, but on the plus side some very good movies on this show like The English Patient and Breaking The Waves.
A couple of weeks after this episode aired, there’s a Viewer’s Thumb segment about their review of Space Jam. The viewer complained that the review is biased because Gene, Roger, and Michael Jordon were from Chicago and they gave him a pass and I pretty much agree with that. Gene seemingly reviews the film from a Chicago Bulls fanboy perspective.
I didn’t have a problem with Viewer’s Thumb. It was interesting to see what people had to say.

Well, it was better than Kazaam. At least you have to admit that.
Gene was a special Bulls sideline reporter for WBBM Chicago during the Bulls’ second title threepeat.
I saw parts if Kazaam and I turned it off.
Space Jam remains their most embarrassing review.
Roger spot-on re: Sleepers, though.
