Roger reviews Stroker Ace by himself at the end of this video.
You will notice that the video shown here is a rerun. This was shown in 1983, although it originally aired in 1982. You can tell by Roger reviewing the movie Stroker Ace, which came out in 1983.

Does anyone know what is the story with the Ebert review of Stroker Ace? Did that occasionally happen back in those days, where only one of them would review a movie for the show?
Those are prefaced as “local newscast” reviews. So they’d be sent to local news outlets, and the newscasters would play them and say “thank you, Roger” as if he was speaking live. Ebert’s official YouTube channel also has a lot of his local newscast reviews from 1982 up to soon before he had to stop doing television.
