Super Mario Bros., Dangerous Game, Hocus Pocus, The Beverly Hillbillies, Coneheads, The Vanishing, The Opposite Sex, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Cop and a Half, Carnosaur
Ah yes, the Cop and a Half/Carnosaur battle! Now did Roger sound like he hated Carnosaur in his original review?
I never liked The Beverly Hillbillies TV series, so I never bothered with the movie. Just like my objection to The Flintstones, they did nothing but reset the TV series and gave the characters nothing new or original to do. Compare that with The Brady Bunch, which at least gave the show a new spin by putting the 70’s characters into 90’s America.
Unlike Wayne’s World or The Blues Brothers, Coneheads didn’t translate well into a 2-hour movie. There were some individual funny moments, so I wouldn’t have used it on this show.

Pretty sure Roger just picked Carnosaur to spite Gene for picking a movie that Roger liked as the year’s worst.
Roger Ebert was right when he called it a troubled movie because it literally is. https://patrickwonderfulworld.blogspot.com/2019/05/what-went-wrong-with-super-mario-bros.html
What’s funny is that Cop and a Half on Rotten Tomatoes, to this day is only being prevented from having a 0% score is Roger Ebert’s review!
