Good God, I HATED Brighton Beach Memoirs. I’ll never forget, I was so adamant to not see it, and all my friends wanted to. I sat there in the theater sulking like no tomorrow. This was not my thing as a 21 year old. Aliens and Eastwood!

The play is better. They even cut a scene out of the play where the sisters talk about their dead dad.
