For those who noticed the typo during the recap section, Roger later corrected it when he addressed that Raiders Of The Lost Ark is rated PG a couple of episodes later. Anyways, Raiders is awesome. It’s a perfect example on how to make a summer blockbuster. Future filmmakers can learn a lot from this movie.
19 years after this review went on the air, Roger later re-watched the film to write a “Great Movies” essay about the film. This time, he not only focused on the action set-pieces, but also on it’s anti-Nazi themes. He basically read the film as Spielberg’s middle finger to the Nazis, which it is.
