  • I’ve seen this entire episode on YouTube so maybe you can get it from there and replace the incomplete one.

    • Is it still on YouTube? I can’t find it. I did find this video with just a portion of the episode which finishes up the Last Samurai discussion and goes on a little further. It picks up at 6:10 where this one cuts off. But then it itself stops in the middle of Roeper’s video pick (X2):

  • Tom Cruise should have won the Oscar for Best Actor that year for The Last Samurai…hell Last Samurai should have won Best Picture that is how good it was.

Cat in the Hat with Mike Myers wasn’t that bad.

  • The type of movies that I hate the most are remakes that don’t respect the source material. And The Cat in the Hat is the worst offender I’ve ever seen. I grew up reading Dr. Seuss and watching the TV specials, which all respected his spirit. The Cat in the Hat is an ugly, hideous mess which is nowhere close to the spirit of Seuss, and threw in garbage like poop and pee jokes, product placements, and pop cultural references. And Mike Myers was annoying and not funny. I felt personally insulted by this movie and hated it almost as much as Ebert hated North.
