  • Reading Roger Ebert’s review of The Great Mouse Detective both in his books and website is kind of interesting. Basically his review of the film primarily focused on the animation because of how it blended traditional animation with CGI. Basically, he logically deduces that animated films have the potential to rival summer blockbusters in terms of technological prowess and Disney will become the vehicle on which this technological prowess will be delivered.
