Gene is noticeably ill here and clearly getting worse. Its very sad to see these final 45 months of his life, but his perseverance do keep doing this show was admirable. Not trying to make light of it, but I can’t help but wonder what his brain was thinking with his review of Practical Magic in contrast with Roger’s. He didn’t even seem to get that it was a comedy. Devastatingly, I believe it was the tumor in his brain taking effect.
